I don't remember the exact date. My wife and I went fishing for burbot on the Tanana River near Shaw Creek. We were fishing for burbot a few hours with no luck. I kept seeing fish surfacing near the other bank so I decided to cast a spinner. I ended up catching two grayling and zero burbot. I never thought that grayling lived in the Tanana River. I guess they do.
